The Camberwell Centre is located 5 kilometres east of the Central Business District (CBD) of Melbourne in the heart of the City Of Boroondara. The proximity to the CBD makes the venue easily accessible without the problems of congested roads. Public transport can be found at our doorstep as well as a short walking distance away.

Boroondara, known for its beautiful parks and historic houses, comprises of the suburbs of Ashburton, Balwyn, North Balwyn, Camberwell, Canterbury, Hawthorn, Hawthorn East, Kew, Kew East, and parts of Glen Iris, Surrey Hills and Mont Albert. Further information about the local community is located on the website of the City of Boroondara.

The Camberwell Shopping Precinct on Burke Road can be found a short walking distance from the venue. Represented by the Camberwell Traders Association this vibrant area is one of Melbourne's most historic shopping strips and boasts over 400 specialty stores well worth visiting.


Car

From the CBD

  • Take the Monash Freeway (M1, Citylink)
  • Take the Toorak Road exit. Turn left at the end of the exit and continue along Toorak Road
  • Turn left on Burke Road
  • Turn right on Inglesby Road (See Parking)

Parking

  • Car park adjacent to the north-west side of the venue next to the Our Ladies of Victories School. Access via Reserve Road and Inglesby Road. Note that this free car park is only accessible after school hours and during school holidays.
  • Car park to the south east of the venue. The entrances can be found on Inglesby Road near the corner with Camberwell Road. Parking is free, however note that restrictions apply (2P 8am - 6pm, Mon-Fri).
  • Further parking can be found on Market Street next to Safeway and Target approximately 350 meters to the north of the venue.
  • Additional parking is available in the surrounding streets.

Train

  • The Camberwell train station is located in zone 1 and can be reached by taking any train to Alamein, Belgrave or Lilydale from the CBD. The travel time from the city is between 11 and 16 min depending on the number of stops.
  • Camberwell train station is located a pleasant 10 min walk from the venue. Take the west exit (CBD side) out of the station, turn left on Burke Road, turn left after 500 metres at Camberwell Junction into Camberwell Road (2nd street on the left at the junction), the venue is located after 350 metres on the right hand side.
